Koninika Mitra has been appointed as Head of Human Resources at SBS India, bringing more than two decades of experience across HR business partnering, talent management, people analytics, career development, total rewards, and organizational development.
Koninika joins SBS India from Amazon, where she led the people function across three global business verticals. She has also held leadership roles at HSBC, Lehman Brothers, Times Internet, and Honeywell, contributing to talent strategies, organizational effectiveness, and business transformation.
In her new role, Koninika will work closely with the India Leadership Team to strengthen employee experience, accelerate talent development, and enhance organizational effectiveness. Her focus will support SBS India’s efforts to build a more inclusive, connected, and high-performing workplace.
A graduate of Presidency College and XLRI Jamshedpur, Koninika brings a strategic perspective and strong focus on people development to her new mandate, supporting SBS India’s continued growth and organizational priorities.
