Rohan Waghmare has been appointed as Director of IT – Reliability Engineering at Coupang, marking a key leadership addition to the company’s global technology operations. In his new role, Rohan will spearhead the transformation of IT operations into a more automated, proactive, and self-healing environment, while also leading the setup of a world-class Command Center at Coupang’s Bengaluru hub.
Rohan brings over 15 years of experience in IT operations, having most recently served as Senior Manager – IT at BMC Software, where he led global command center initiatives, cloud support, and customer experience programs. His tenure at BMC was marked by impactful contributions including process optimization, GDPR compliance, and significant improvements in customer satisfaction.
With a strong track record in building high-performing teams and delivering operational excellence, Rohan’s appointment reflects Coupang’s strategic focus on strengthening its IT infrastructure and delivering reliable, scalable solutions to support its continued growth.
