Anindya Mukherjee has been appointed as Chief – Strategy & Business Excellence at Shyam Metalics & Energy Limited. Based in Kolkata, he will oversee strategy implementation, M&A, business excellence initiatives, and Investor Relations.
With over 23 years of experience, Anindya has worked across strategy, business transformation, cost optimisation, digital-led transformation, and performance improvement across sectors including steel, power, manufacturing, infrastructure, cement, ports, and railways in India and the Middle East.
Before joining Shyam Metalics, he served as Vice President – Strategy at Quess Corp Limited and previously held senior roles at PwC India. His earlier career includes stints with EY-Parthenon, Saudi Binladin Group, The Boston Consulting Group, KPMG Advisory Services India, and Crisil.
Anindya holds an MBA in Strategy & Finance from IIM Bangalore and a Mechanical Engineering degree from IIT Kharagpur. At Shyam Metalics, he will bring his consulting and industry experience to support strategic growth, business excellence, and value-creation initiatives.
