Before joining Databricks, Atheeth spent nearly a decade at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he led multiple engineering organizations—including AWS Support Engineering and Enterprise Technical Services—guiding them through periods of scaled growth, operational maturity, and transformation. He played an instrumental role in building GenAI-powered support frameworks, optimizing cloud cost strategies, and elevating enterprise support for complex workloads spanning EC2, storage, databases, analytics, and security services. His leadership was rooted in operational rigor, data-driven decision-making, and a deep commitment to enterprise customer success.
Atheeth’s earlier career at Cisco further shaped his technical and leadership foundation. Over nearly five years, he managed high-touch technical support for Fortune 50 customers, strengthened global collaboration engineering teams, and drove process excellence within the Technical Assistance Center. His roles—from Technical Services Manager to High Touch Support leader—demonstrated his ability to scale teams, streamline operations, and elevate customer experience for large-scale collaboration and unified communication deployments.
