Mohit Sharma has been elevated to Vice President at Welspun World, marking a significant milestone in his 19-year career in the hospitality, home textile, and flooring industry. In his expanded role, he will lead the Home Textile and Flooring businesses for Hospitality, along with Government and Institutional Sales across India and SAARC countries.
Mohit has built a strong track record across hospitality sales, government business, flooring, home textiles, P&L management, strategic relationships, and business development. Before his elevation, he served as Assistant Vice President, and prior to that, spent almost 9 years with Welspun World, heading various designations across the organization.
Earlier, he spent nearly 10 years with Brintons Carpets Asia, heading National Sales for hospitality sales and government and institutional business. His experience includes managing key hospitality accounts, engaging architects, hotel brands and decision-makers, developing markets, leading teams, and driving business growth across the Indian subcontinent.
With 19 years of industry experience, Mohit’s elevation reflects his sustained contribution, deep market relationships, and ability to lead diverse business portfolios. His new mandate brings together two powerful product categories while further strengthening Welspun’s engagement with hospitality brands, architects, hotel owners, government institutions, and the wider industry ecosystem.
