Virat Khanna has joined Tata Consumer Products as Vice President – Marketing & Innovation for its Packaged Beverages Division, taking on a mandate spanning marketing, innovation and national brands.
The move marks the next chapter in his 16-year career across established consumer businesses and high-growth brands, with experience spanning brand building, portfolio strategy, innovation, premiumisation and digital transformation.
Khanna joins Tata Consumer Products from Dabur India, where he was Head of Marketing – Skincare, leading brand and business strategy across the skincare and salon portfolio. His mandate included driving innovation, premiumisation and digital transformation across evolving consumer categories.
Prior to Dabur, Khanna was part of the leadership team at The Moms Co., where he helped scale the business from ₹40 crore to ₹100 crore in annual recurring revenue, ahead of its acquisition by Good Glamm Group. At Philips India, he led innovation and digital transformation for men’s grooming, including the launch of Philips OneBlade. He began his career with L’Oréal India, working on Garnier Men.
Across these roles, Khanna has built a distinctive breadth of experience – moving between legacy brands, challenger businesses and transformation-led mandates. His work has consistently focused on translating consumer understanding into sharper propositions, new growth opportunities and commercially relevant innovation.
At Tata Consumer Products, he brings this cross-category perspective to a larger canvas, with a focus on building enduring brands, creating new consumption opportunities and shaping the next phase of growth for the Packaged Beverages portfolio.
An alumnus of NMIMS Mumbai, Khanna’s career reflects a combination of consumer-centric thinking, creativity and commercial rigour – with a continuing focus on rethinking the obvious and building what’s next.
