Kaustubh Deshpande has been appointed as Senior Vice President – Emerging & Africa Markets at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, taking on end-to-end P&L responsibility to drive sustainable and profitable growth across diverse international markets. His mandate includes strengthening existing businesses, expanding portfolios, developing new markets, and building strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining Emcure, Kaustubh spent over 22 years with Cipla, building businesses and brands across India and international markets, with significant leadership exposure across Sub-Saharan Africa and North Africa. His experience spans commercial leadership, market expansion, portfolio development, business transformation, and strategic growth, alongside building and leading diverse multicultural teams.
At Emcure, he will work closely with central and cross-functional teams across Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance to translate strategy into execution, strengthen scalable businesses, and expand access to quality medicines across Emerging & Africa Markets.
