Avinash K N has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Netgroup Engineering India, a subsidiary of Sweden-based Netgroup AB. He officially assumed the role in June 2025, after joining the organization in September 2024 and contributing significantly to operations, marketing, and business strategy. With deep domain expertise in the automotive sector, Avinash has laid out a comprehensive roadmap tailored for the Indian market over the next decade.
Netgroup India has witnessed a remarkable 50% growth in the past year and currently operates with 150 employees across four specialized areas—Product Design, Geometry Assurance, Software, and Electronics. Under Avinash’s leadership, the company aims to expand its team to 500 over the next five years. Netgroup India plays a pivotal role in aligning Indian OEMs with European automotive quality standards.
Avinash brings over 19 years of industry experience, having held key roles at Volvo Group and Mahindra Rise, where he contributed to interior design and engineering of various global and domestic vehicle platforms. He holds a Master’s degree in Automotive Product Design from Coventry University and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from B.M.S. Institute of Technology.
